Vesna Štih was born on April 9, 1992 in Maribor, Slovenia. She received her bachelor's and master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of Maribor. In 2018 she received Janko Jamnik Doctoral Scholarship for Promising Early-Stage Researchers in Chemistry and Related Sciences. She is a PhD student at the Slovenian NMR Centre, National Institute of Chemistry.

• Structure-function relationship of non-coding RNAs in stress response.
