Uroš Javornik was born on 6th June 1988, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He recieved his B. Sc. degree in Biochemistry at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology in 2016 with a thesis titled Analysis of supramolecular structures formed by a diastereoisomeric pair of modified deoxyguanosine dinucleotides by liquid NMR spectroscopy. He has been working at the Slovenian NMR centre since 2014, providing assistance to users and working in various fields of application of NMR spectroscopy, including structure elucidation, characterization of industrial products, metabolite conformational analysis and DNA structure characterization. In 2016 he started his Ph. D. studies at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, focused on the structural significance of interactions of DNA oligonucleotides with solvent and co-solutes.
