Gürle Fırat Aydın was born on November 5, 1991 in İstanbul. He received his master’s degree in Human Medicine at the Medical University of Pleven, Bulgaria. After the completion of basic medical training and state internship he proceeded with an Erasmus+ internship in Medical University of Graz with focus on General- and Neuroradiology, Neurology and Psychiatry. He has been working in Slovenian NMR center since March 2019 as a Research Assistant.

• Non-canonical DNA structures found in Proviruses, focused on genus Deltaretrovirus.
